She began her television career by landing a role in the daytime drama Days of Our Lives, and her performances garnered her a number of honors, including a Soap Opera award from Soap Opera Digest and a Youth in Film award. Tracey won an Emmy for the Best Ingenue in Daytime Television (1984-85) for The Young and the Restless, which she joined in May 1983.
Her additional television credits include a regular role in the series Family Tree; guest appearances in the series The Fall Guy, Fame, and The Love Boat; and roles in the Afterschool Special The Girl with ESP, and the television movie Three on a Date. Her feature film credits are Happy Birthday to Me, The Funny Farm and The Concrete Jungle.
Tracey was born in Munich and raised in London until she was 10. Her father is producer Martin Bregman. When she was 13, Tracey moved to Southern California and studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute and with Francis Lederer at ANTA.
Tracey and her husband, Ron Recht, have two children. Her birth date is May 29.
